The budget will be up for our support this Sunday in our annual meeting. A church budget is different from other budgets in one key way… all of the line items represent our mission in action. Every staff person is helping us build relationships, giving us opportunities to serve and helping us grow in our faith. Building costs testify to our mission, even when we aren’t here for worship… all of the paper products provide hospitality to the AA groups, PDO, Scouts and others. Each year we train new Stephen Ministers. We get to clean the carpets because our building is so heavily used! And what is better than our benevolence, mission trip, and generosity line items which make it clear that our mission extends beyond our doors and into our community, even the world! – Pastor Trudy Stoffel
