We really don’t know much about His childhood. Luke 2:41-52 is the only place we see anything other than an infant or adult Jesus. There are always speculations and some of them can be funny- like the book Lamb by Christopher Moore invents a best friend for Jesus named Biff. It is irreverent to be sure! Though we may be curious and want to fill in the gaps, lingering in this scene of Jesus talking with the rabbis might reveal a deeper wisdom!
