The Making Space Campaign is what we are calling the 5 year/$2.5 million fundraising campaign for our Sanctuary Renovation and retirement of the debt incurred in the last building program in 2009. I’ll be honest, it is challenging because we have kind of been proud of our approach to giving which is that we simply communicate the budget and give updates as needed (often with humor). No guilt. No shame. No constant talk about money. And EVERY time…EVERY TIME- you respond. We’d like to keep this a very GLC campaign…talking about the opportunity to make space by making our sanctuary safer, more accessible, better lighting and sound for those at home and in the sanctuary, and more connection between the overflow and the sanctuary and then trusting that you will respond, with your prayers and pledges that will be essential to the project happening. Many of you have already given gifts of all sizes, and we will be hearing from some of them during November.
