Human fingerprints are all over the Bible and sometimes there is not perfect alignment between stories in the scriptures. For me, the various views and experiences add strength to the story and make it more likely that we will find ourselves connecting to the story. It is a miracle that through all the storytelling, scribes, translations and interpretations that the story still holds our attention, inviting us to continue to learn new things about Jesus and our faith every time we pick up a Bible or hear it in church! – Pastor Trudy Stoffel
