We're Glad You're Here!

Welcome to Worship at GLC!

Whether this is your first time visiting or you’ve been around for a bit we want you to know we’re glad you’re here!

If you’re new to church or to the Lutheran faith we invite you to visit our FAQ page where we dive into the questions we get asked most often.

In our worship services we light candles, listen to a message,  hear readings, sing hymns, and celebrate communion.

Who you’ll see in our worship services:

Trudy Stoffel, Lead Pastor

Sharai Jacob, Vicar (pastoral intern)

Amy Steenson, Coordinator of Worship & Music Ministries

Deborah Ayotte, Organist/Pianist

Michelle Lata, Coordinator of Children & Family Ministries

Julie Slifka, Coordinator of Congregational Ministries

Members of the congregation also participate in the service as

acolytes (candle lighters), readers (those who read the day’s Bible text and prayers), and communion assistants.

Though some sign up online to fill these roles—most are invited with a shoulder tap (don’t worry – we won’t tap visitors!).

Holy Communion at GLC– You’ll hear the pastor say, ‘it is Jesus who invites us to the table.’  That means you are welcome.  We believe that Jesus is present in, with, and under the bread and wine.  We commune by intinction, which means you receive the bread in your hands and dip it into the wine (silver chalice) or grape juice (white chalice).   There is gluten free bread available.

For kids

Children are always welcome in worship! We have a message for kids during the 9 and 10:30 am services.  For our youngest , ages 1-3, we offer a staffed nursery.  Our older children, ages 3 years-5th grade, are invited to Sunday school during the 10:30 worship hour.

Let us know you were here!  Please fill out our contact form —we’d love to connect with you!
