At my house, sometimes I just need to do a deep clean or move some furniture for everything to feel new. Other times walls need to be moved or you need to go down to the studs to take care of an issue, like widening doors for a walker or dealing with a critter infestation. Still other times, a bull dozer is the only solution. You just have to start over. If we want our faith to be a living faith, we need to sometimes move things around or demo completely to reframe and rebuild our faith based on experiences we’ve had or things we’ve learned. This happens over and over in stories in scripture as God’s people start over again and again. The whole Bible is one big construction project and, in Jesus, God jumps right in to join the work. -Pastor Trudy Stoffel
