Pastor Trudy Stoffel

Lead Pastor

Lead Pastor of Geneva Lutheran Church since February of 2012, Pastor Trudy brings her Wisconsin roots and dairy farmer sensibility to all she does here. Yes, she does root for the Packers and Badgers, but she will often cheer most for whichever team is the underdog. Pastor Trudy is the proud mother of three grown children: one is married and lives in Chicagoland and two live in Colorado. Together with her husband, Dave, she enjoys walking their husky in their neighborhood, watching bad television (for sermon illustration purposes only) and making crazy quilts. She practices Biblical storytelling, inviting all of us to step into the story of God’s love for us each week.

Pastor Amber Kalina

Associate Pastor

Pastor Amber started as Associate Pastor in September of 2026, moving to Geneva from the Minnesota side of the Red River Valley. While this is her first time being pastor in this place, it is not her first time at GLC. In 2020-21, she served as GLC’s vicar and was deeply impacted by the Generous Life in Christ she experienced. She feels blessed to return to this community and have the chance to help others to experience the joy of abundant life. A passage of scripture that guides her ministry comes from 1 Corinthians 16:13-14: “Keep alert; stand firm in your faith; be courageous; be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
