There may have been a time and, honestly there still may be some places, where the Reformation is celebrated as a triumph for ‘our side’ where the Roman Catholic church is talked about as if it is the same church it was in 1517. This fuels division and otherness when really the Reformation is really an invitation to continue the process of letting God reform us! Martin Luther invited the church to be grounded again in God’s Word and to explore what it means for our moment. The reforming work of the church continues! – Pastor Trudy Stoffel
