Events & Facility Space
Non-profit community groups looking for meeting space are welcome to use our facilities. Currently, we host a Boy Scouts chapter, AA, and a Thrivent group. Please email office@genevalutheran.org to request more information about using our facilities.

 

About Our Music Ministry

Music Opportunities (pre-pandemic)

Sanctuary Choir

For high school and adult singers, we rehearse each Wednesday at 7:45 pm. This choir sings multiple times per month in services as scheduled.

Jubilation Choir

For our upper elementary singers (grades 3-5) , our Jubilation Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6:00pm from October through May. This choir sings once a month in services.

Solo/Ensemble Vocal & Instrumental Opportunities

We’ve been blessed with great musicians of all formats: from oboists to pianists, violinists to accordionists, and several vocalists. We welcome additional talented musicians to contact us for future opportunities to share their talents with the congregation.

Joyful Ringers

Our hand bell ensemble plays anthems and bell accompaniment to hymns. Open to interested high school youth and adults, this group meets every Monday at 7:00pm. The hand bell ensemble ring once a month. No prior experience necessary!

Chimes of Praise

For grades 6-8, Choir chimes are the instrument of choice in this ensemble! Meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00pm, October through May. The Chimes of Praise group plays monthly in service.

GLC Symphony

This unique, multi-generational symphony is comprised of beginning musicians to expert-level musicians. Anyone 5th grade and older are welcome to join this seasonal ensemble. Contact Debbie for more information.
