Adult and Family Groups
About Our Groups
We offer many small group opportunities for adults and families based on our three guiding principles: building relationships, growing in faith, and inspiring to serve.
Groups for Adults and Families
The GLC Family Fellowship group holds events geared towards families with young children, but all are invited to participate. Some events, such as the Family Advent Fair, are held at the church, while others happen in the community. Events range from very informal playground meet-ups to more organized, ticketed events, like Chicago Steel hockey games. Our mission aligns with GLC’s mission to build faith and fellowship and to serve others. Events are advertised in the GLC Connects e-newsletter. Contact Michelle Lata for more information.

Stuff You Missed In Sunday School
If you are new to our church or have been here your entire life–this class will entertain and educate you every Sunday morning! We dig deeper into the preaching text of the day using maps, stories, accompanying texts, reference books, photos, and some humor along the way. We gather every Sunday at 10:00 am in Room 213 to meet new friends and connect with old ones. No experience necessary! For ages high school to adult.

We read and talk about both fiction and non-fiction books. Our book discussion group meets at the church on the third Monday of each month, September-May. All are welcome to participate. Contact Karen Bentson for more information.
