We offer many small group opportunities for adults and families based on our three guiding principles: building relationships, growing in faith, and inspiring to serve.

Guys Group
Social gathering for guys of all ages at local watering holes. Meets the 4th Monday of the month at 8PM. Location can be found in the Enews and the GLC calendar. Contact Jeff Cameron for more information.
Gathered in Grace
Fellowship group for women that meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 8PM at Geneva Ale House. No homework or prep ahead of time. Just connection and conversation with other GLC women. Contact Faith Sax for more information. Come if you can. Come as you are.
Bible Study
Drop-in for a great discussion inspired by the Bible and other religious texts. We meet every Thursday at 9:30 am in the Chapel and offer other seasonal small groups and studies. Contact Pastor Trudy for more information.
Senior Lunch Bunch
Lunch outings and events for people 65+ years old for continuing community. Meets each month. Contact Cindy Yeo for more information.
Family Fellowship
The GLC Family Fellowship group holds events geared towards families with young children, but all are invited to participate. Some events, such as the Family Advent Fair, are held at the church, while others happen in the community. Events range from very informal playground meet-ups to more organized, ticketed events, like Chicago Steel hockey games. Our mission aligns with GLC’s mission to build faith and fellowship and to serve others. Events are advertised in the GLC e-newsletter. Contact Michelle Lata for more information.

Stuff You Missed In Sunday School
Do you wish that you had a trustworthy resource to help you make sense of all the info you hear–out there, in church, from other people? Our goal is to assist by increasing access to academic materials–maps, works by experts, language translations, and much more–to help us better understand God’s words and His plan for our lives. But in a really FUN way!!
Every week we tackle the scripture of the day and sermon topic by exploring the places, word meanings, intended audience, and the political and religious climate during which these works were first written.
Please join us from 10-11 am each Sunday morning in Room 213 (the classroom at the top of the stairs next to the elevator) to experience these topics and to meet other wonderful people who enjoy learning as much as you do!
This is a drop-in class–just come when you can.
NO EXPERIENCE is necessary at all!! No prep. No homework.
Just a lot of laughter, plenty of hands-on materials, and moments of “Oh, I didn’t know that”!
