Our Parent’s Day Out (PDO) provides a loving environment for children aged 2-5 to play, learn, and grow while providing parents 3 hours to use as they like! PDO helps prepare your child for the transition into preschool and kindergarten. Our multi-age classrooms provide opportunities for children to share, take turns, cooperate with their peers, and become more responsible. We are not a drop-off program– when you sign up, the spot is your child’s through May.
Potty training is not required. Our staff specialize in helping children with separation anxiety feel more comfortable away from parents. Our PDO program is open to all in the community, regardless of church membership or attendance.
We offer three different program times–
- 8:45-11:45* (This time slot also comes with an option of extending your child’s stay until 12:45, but only if your child is 3 or 4.)
Families may register their children aged 2-5 for one or two days per week.
There is a one-time registration fee of $35.00 per class.
2017-2018 Monthly Fees are as follows:
Mondays-$54.00 per month
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays-$59.00 per month
Fridays-$56.00 per month
Wait, why are the fees different for each day? We follow the Geneva Public School calendar, which means we do not have PDO on days when the district is closed for holidays or institute days. Our monthly fees are structured to reflect the difference in attendance days. If Geneva Public Schools closes due to inclement weather, we will too. Check our website for weather-related closure updates.
Your child can join our program as soon as they turn 2 years old. We do have children start mid-year.
