Music Ministry

Music connects us both to God and each other. Our goal in Music Ministry is to encourage all to participate in worship through music, making a “joyful noise” to God!

 

Choir Opportunities

Sanctuary Choir: For high school and adult singers, we rehearse each Wednesday at 7:45 pm. This choir sings multiple times per month in services as scheduled.

Cherub Choir (K-2): Our team of the youngest singers, this group rehearses Wednesdays at 4 pm, September to May.

Jubilation  Choir (3-5): For our upper elementary and middle school singers, our Jubilation Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6 pm from October through May. This choir sings once a month in services.

 

Instrumental Opportunities

Joyful Ringers: Our hand bell ensemble plays anthems and bell accompaniment to hymns. Open to interested high school youth and adults, this group meets every Monday at 7 pm. The hand bell ensemble ring once a month. No prior experience necessary!

Chimes of Praise (6-8): Choir chimes are the instrument of choice in this ensemble! Meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm, October through May. The Chimes of Praise group plays monthly in service.

Geneva Lutheran Church Symphony: This unique, multi-generational symphony is comprised of beginning musicians to expert-level musicians. Anyone 5th grade and older are welcome to join this seasonal ensemble. Contact Debbie for more information.

Solo/Ensemble Vocal & Instrumental Opportunities:
We’ve been blessed with great musicians of all formats: from oboists to pianists, violinists to accordionists, and several vocalists. We welcome additional talented musicians to contact us for future opportunities to share their talents with the congregation.
