Children in Worship
Kids are always welcome in worship and bring a unique energy to all that happens at Geneva Lutheran Church. They add excitement, eagerness, and a genuine love for life that is all their own! In addition, we also have a staffed nursery for our wiggliest worshipers whenever you need it.

Sunday School really is cool!
Sunday school is in session September through May for 3 year olds through 5th graders. Classes run from 10:15 to 11:15 am. Contact Julie Slifka for more information; julie@genethalutheran.org

First Communion
We celebrate First Communion in third grade (or older), believing that even nine year-olds need to receive the gifts of God’s love in this sacrament so they can share the Good News of Jesus in their lives.  First Communion is part of our Sunday education and occurs in January and February each year.  Since Holy Communion is an important part of worship, families need to be attending worship regularly before beginning classes.

Club 345
Every Wednesday night small groups and games for 3rd -5th graders. (Dinner optional)

VBCamp
Not a ‘canned’ Vacation Bible School, but a camp experience all week at GLC!  All day, bring a lunch, games, small groups led by certified LOMC camp counselors.  LOMC (Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center) is located in Oregon, IL.
