We offer many small group opportunities for adults based on our three guiding principles of building relationships, growing in faith, and inspiring to serve.
GLC Page Turners – Meets the second Monday of each month, September-May.
Guys’ Group – Social gathering for guys of all ages with monthly meetings at local watering holes.
Moms’ Group – Meetings for support and encouragement of moms with young children. Monthly meetings at homes and local restaurants.
Silver Foxes – Lunch outings and events for people 60+ years old for continuing community. Meets the second Sunday of each month.
Growing in Faith
Bible and Religious Texts studies– Drop-in for a great discussion inspired by Bible and religious text discussions. Every Thursday at 9:30am and 7:00pm.
Stuff You Missed in Sunday School– We dive deeper into the sermon text for the day and get at the history of the text. Expect maps, illustrations, and a connection to daily life! Sundays at 10:15am in the chapel.
Lazarus House Meals– Once a month, donate food items or help us cook a fresh meal to donate to the Lazarus House! We all cook together and then deliver. Usually second Sundays of the month.
Quilters– Cut, tie knots, and sew! Quilts go to local shelters and farther abroad through Lutheran World Relief. Over 100 quilts made each year! Meets every Wednesday at 9:30am.
Knitters– We knit newborn blankets, prayer shawls, prayer squares, and coffee cozies, all of which are distributed to those in need through GLC. We meet monthly in homes or at church.
We often have seasonal small groups, too! Not sure where to get started? Check out the latest edition of the newsletter or contact Pastor Trudy to learn about other opportunities within the congregation.
