Lent is a the time between Ash Wednesday and Easter when we devote a little more time and attention to our faith. Giving something up or even more giving up something in order to give more to those in need can be a meaningful practice during this season. Spending time together with others on the same journey can be uplifting and encouraging so we offer these community events:
Eating together: Soup Suppers- Wednesdays at 6 PM (March 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10)- Gather in the fellowship hall for warm, homemade soups, salads and desserts
Praying together: Holden Evening Prayer- Wednesdays at 7 PM (March 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10)- A 30 minute liturgy with members of the congregation sharing stories of living our lives as an offering.
Learning together: Bible Studies- Thursdays at 9:30AM and 7 PM
