Worship with Children
At Geneva Lutheran we value families being together in worship. We spend much of our week divided and rushed, and look forward to the pace of worship and sharing sacred rituals with our children. Practicing faith together makes families stronger. There are 'busy bags' and a chapel space at the back of the Sanctuary where our newly mobile members can move freely while still being in a special space. We also have a volunteer staffed nursery for our wiggliest worshippers (12-36 months). They leave after the childrens sermon and return for a blessing at communion.
Having children in worship raises the noise level some Sundays, but also brings a beautiful energy and above all, hope! So pack up your special 'church snack' and find a place where your whole family is welcome!
